ROLLA, MO (Show Me Live) – The U.S. Forest Service – Mark Twain National Forest says that two prescribed burns scheduled for today (Wed, Mar 26th).
These include approximately 2700 acres in Flagg Beecher, located 15 miles west of Potosi, MO. Importantly, the Berryman Trail bisects the burn area and Forest Service crews are in place to divert traffic as necessary.
Also, approximately 300 acres at Eldridge Corner, located 18 miles southwest of Ava.
All operations are pending weather and outcome of initial test burns.
