BONNE TERRE, MO (Show Me Live) – A Bonne Terre man is facing charges being accused of drinking and driving a UTV in St. Francois County late last night (Sat, Mar 22nd). The Missouri State Highway Patrol says it arrested 47-year-old Jason S. Jakoubek after midnight on March 23rd for charges of DUI resulting in the death of another and DWI resulting in serious physical injury after an accident on Raider Road at Vo-Tech Road in Bonne Terre.

Jakoubek was unharmed, but his two female passengers — a 43-year-old and a 37-year-old both from Bonne Terre — were injured and taken to Parkland Health Center in Bonne Terre. The 37-year-old was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital. The 43-year-old received moderate injuries.
The vehicle was totaled and the use of safety devices is unknown.
Jakoubek is currently being held for 24 hours at the St. Francois County Jail.
