POTOSI, MO (Show Me Live) – A Farmington man faces up to 30 years in prison for allegedly sexually enticing a 14-year-old, according to the Washington County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Court records indicate 31-year-old Corey Alan Hill used social media to send messages to the young teen last year, when he was 30.

The arrest warrant claims that Hill used SnapChat and TikTok for the “enticement of a child by attempting to solicited a person less than fifteen years of age to engage in sexual conduct, and was done with the purpose of committing such enticement of a child.”

In the probable cause statement, authorities reveal obscene messages were sent to the eighth grader after Hill consented to a search of his phone.

During questioning, Hill told authorities that he “did not remember the message but that he used a lot of illegal drugs during that time frame.”

The statement also says a criminal history showed that Hill had a charge in Illinois for driving while license revoked/suspended. His Missouri criminal history also revealed multiple charges, including drug paraphernalia possession, failure to appear (misdemeanor), littering, numerous counts of driving while revoked/suspended, stealing (misdemeanor), domestic assault 1st, endanger welfare of child 1st, domestic assault 2nd, resisting/interfering with arrest for a felony, DWI – drug intoxication, violate order of protection for adult, and possession of controlled substance.

If convicted, Hill faces up between five and 30 years in prison without parole, probation, or conditional release.
